Project Management - Gippsland Sustainable Tourism Project 2004-2007

EMH Communications worked in partnership with SMS Marketing to provide administration and project management services to the Gippsland Sustainable Tourism Project Committee. The Project was a cooperative venture between the six Shire Councils of Gippsland (Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Latrobe, East Gippsland, Wellington and Baw Baw), Destination Gippsland, Tourism Victoria and the federal government. The project was a whole of Gippsland approach aimed at building a sustainable tourism industry by gathering quality local research, developing tourism business networks and business opportunities and developing a touring route concept to provide a focus for unified marketing across the region. The project involved all elements of project management and administration and included a large element of stakeholder management.
